An Alternative to Consider: Mediation
Another approach to divorce, where time spent in court is avoided, is Mediation. With Mediation, we play a neutral role in working with you and your spouse toward a resolution.  We do not represent the interests of one party — rather, we serve by educating each spouse with regard to Family law and facilitating discussion between the parties towards the goal of identifying all issues in the case and reaching resolution.
As with Collaborative Divorce, however, Mediation requires the mutual commitment of both spouses.  The attorneys in our office are available for Mediation to facilitate resolving family law issues.
